Diploma, transcript and academic records

Diploma and Transcript Translation into Russian

We translate diplomas, degree certificates, transcripts, diploma supplements and academic records for submission in Russia or abroad. We keep subjects, grades, credits, hours, seals and repeated personal data consistent across the set.

Before we quote: send the diploma and every transcript or supplement page, tell us the receiving organisation and attach its written requirement if available. We will confirm the language direction, document set and certification route before work starts.

What is the translation for?

The receiver, country and purpose determine whether you need translation alone, a certified format, an apostille or another sequence.

01

Submission in Russia

A foreign diploma translated into Russian for a university, employer, authority, bank or notary.

02

Submission abroad

A Russian diploma translated for study, employment, a visa file or qualification review outside Russia.

03

Credential document set

Diploma, transcript, supplement, academic record and supporting identity documents handled consistently.

04

Requirements unclear

Send the receiver’s wording before you choose translation, certification or legalisation steps.

Scope of work

What we check in education documents

Education files are data-heavy. The complete set matters more than a single attractive page.

A

Diploma or degree certificate

Holder’s details, institution, qualification, field of study, award date, document number, signatures and seals.

B

Transcript and supplement

Subjects, grades, credits, academic hours, result tables, grading notes and final totals.

C

Set-level consistency

Names, dates, institution wording and repeated terms are checked across all files you provide.

Receiver-first check

Confirm the order before translation

Before translation, ask the receiving organisation whether the document needs an apostille or consular legalisation. If it does, that step normally has to be completed in the country that issued the document; the document and all legalisation marks can then be translated together. A university or credential evaluator may also specify whether the diploma and transcript must be separate, sealed, certified or delivered in a particular format. The receiving organisation’s current instructions remain the source of truth.

Current rates and estimates

Starting points, then a file-based quote

The final cost and schedule depend on language direction, transcript volume, tables, scan quality, layout, certification, urgency and delivery. We confirm the complete scope after reviewing the files.

English-language translation575 ₽ per standard page
Agency certification400 ₽ per document
Partner-notary certification800 ₽ per document

These are catalogue starting points, not a universal total. A partner notary performs the notarial act where that route is requested and agreed.

Avoid rework

Common causes of a rejected or repeated workflow

We cannot promise acceptance, but we can surface the decisions that most often change the deliverable.

Only the diploma was sent

The receiver may also require the transcript, supplement or an academic record.

Translation started before legalisation was checked

Ask the receiver first. If an apostille or legalisation is required, it is normally arranged in the country that issued the document before the complete set is translated.

Name spelling was not agreed

The diploma, passport and related translations should use consistent personal data.

One certification format was assumed to work everywhere

Different organisations can request different copies, signatures, seals or delivery formats.

FAQ

Diploma and transcript translation questions

Short answers for the choices that should be settled before production.

Can I translate the diploma without the transcript?

Yes when the receiver asks only for the diploma. For study, employment or credential review, the transcript or supplement is often part of the required set, so confirm this first.

Is notarisation always required?

No. Plain translation, agency certification and certification of the translator’s signature by a partner notary are different deliverables. Follow the receiver’s wording.

Is a scan enough to get a quote?

A clear scan or photo is normally enough for initial review. We will tell you if an original or another document is needed for the selected procedure.

Should the apostille be added before translation?

Check with the receiving organisation before ordering the translation. If an apostille or consular legalisation is required, it is normally obtained in the country that issued the document; send the document together with all resulting marks for translation afterwards.

How are long transcript tables priced?

The Price Layer starting point uses standard pages. The final quote reflects the actual source volume, tables, layout and complete file set.
